Guests visit for reasons as diverse as our geography. Family vacations and reunions. Weekend Get-Aways allow guys to polish their game of golf, gals to polish their nails, and couples to reconnect. Tournaments and competitions-golf, fishing, surfing, kayaking, kite boarding, windsurfing, and boating. Cycle the entire length of the barrier islands. There is also running for the sake of running and the Outer Banks Marathon, Half Marathon, and Fun Run.
The beach was never intended to enjoy only in the summer. We invite you to explore the Outer Banks year round. September and October offer warm weather without the peak season crowds. Fall into the fall at an even slower pace (yes, it is possible) and join in on the numerous fall festivals, events, and tournaments that occur virtually weekly. Cure spring fever with an excursion to the beach while enjoying the warm days followed by the cool nights.
